Job Description

KopenTech is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Professional based in Los Angeles to continue to grow and expand our product lineup in North America. This role is responsible for maximizing revenue growth for our business and aggressively prospecting new clients. Sales are also responsible for guiding prospective and incoming clients on KopenTech’s value proposition and technology solutions.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Economics or foreign equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of finance experience either finance or fintech
  • Experience driving commercial outcomes; preferably with experience in leveraged loans and/or structured products
  • Experience in B2B and financial technology-based sales space
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Self-starter with strong intellectual capabilities and ability to learn about a wide range of products and client types
  • Outstanding organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and an ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Competency in Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Frequent travel required

Responsibilities:

  • Seek out, develop and maintain relationships with clients (institutional investors) and external partners
  • Maintain coverage responsibility for KopenTech product line(s) with a focus on building partnerships with institutional investors and broker-dealers
  • Understand investment and trading practices around complex investment vehicles (e.g. CLOs) and products that enhance them
  • Manage a sales pipeline, produce monthly forecasts and track all activity within our CRM; report regularly to management about business development efforts
  • Partner with Product, Client Services, Marketing, and other internal departments to close transactions and meet client needs
  • Participate in ongoing product and sales training
